The end of our smoked pulled pork story here .
We don’t have space for a smoker yet, but were very excited to experiment with trying to get our simple gas BBQ to give us some smokey flavour and bark .
It ended up being a 2 day experiment – whilst we got lots of smoke into the pork we didn’t quite get enough heat through it on day one, hence the need for a day 2!! Covered in a typical BBQ spice rub and marinated for a good while too!
Served with my Dads coleslaw and on some brioche buns and it was the best thing I have eaten in ages  the Apple in the slaw was perfect!

Simple one tonight – crispy salmon stuffed with some garlic and ginger (hence a bit of erm…char ) with some gorgeous simple pak choi in ginger, garlic and soy.
I was actually home at a normal hour for once, so our healthy dinner took a few minutes and had stacks of flavour
